Dundalk High Boy’s Varsity soccer team won the regional championship for ZA North against Eastern Tech 2-0. One goal was scored by Jordan Milburne and another scored by Mike Thompson. Both goals were assisted by Chuck Rappazzo. Ricky Hindle and Ricky Ellis made saves. They played with their momentum high and heads set to win. This is the first regional win since 1992 for Dundalk High. These boys played with good talent. Nick Petro stated “ We went into the game ready to win and to be regional champs for the first year since 1992. We played hard because we knew this was our year to win it”. Coach Senft stated “ The team played excellently and I want to thank all the guys for a great season”. Jordan scored the first goal. Jordan Milburne stated “After scoring the first goal, our team was getting excited. We kept our heads high and continued playing our game. This was our most important game of the season so far, so our team needed to maintain our balance. Knowing that Dundalk hasn’t won a regional title in 17 years made our team feel accomplished.
